Chip works great, I have nothing bad to say about it. Does exactly what I wanted to. the "slots" mode is extremely cool, and is a real eye catcher.
When building my clock, I had to place a small capacitor (100pF) across the Xtal pins when using the DS32KHZ in order for the clock to function reliably. I am not sure why this is, but I figured I'd put this out as a heads up to others.
Great product, results in a VERY professional clock!
